In case you missed it, July 4th in the Pines this year was memorable for the wrong reasons. With multiple parties that popped up on the beach, in the meat rack, and at various houses, social distancing protocols unfortunately were not followed by everyone. Take a look at the news stories online, including from CBS 2.
The end result is that social distancing rules, the use of face masks, etc will all be more closely monitored. FIPPOA, the property owners association, responded to the parties with a community letter, with the main headlines of
Parties on the beach forbidden,
Social distancing or masks required on the beach, and
House parties regulated and monitored.
The full letter can be found here.
As a unfortunate consequence, the online party that was scheduled to replace Pines Party this year, has been cancelled.
